Summer has officially arrived in London. I’m not too sure about the rest of the UK but it’s definitely getting really hot here. Sunshine almost everyday, definitely need some air conditioning around here. Don’t believe me? Come over to London and experience it for yourself.

Not a big fan of hot weather, so i think it’s time to go home. Hmm, i just contradicted myself. Humid Singapore or Desert Dubai would definitely be WAY warmer. Whatever.

I think i did pretty good surviving on 500pounds for 2 weeks now. But i have yet to go to Bath and Paris on the Chunnel (don’t you think the french name Le tunnel sous la Manche sounds so much better). Since Matt would be in Paris this weekend, I probably could do all that this week and go back by next week. It’s been two weeks and i haven’t done any of those you ask? To tell you the truth, i am an avid procrastinator. I am also, on a long holiday so i don’t care.

LONDON is not exactly the most exciting city in the world. Have no idea what the big fuss is all about. Definitely not worth the 12 to 13 hours to get here from singapore i would say. After you’ve done all the sight-seeing (which fyi, can be done in one day), there’s basically only shopping left. I’ve just done all my shopping in Japan before I came to London, so the sale here doesn’t seem at all appealing. SO when shopping becomes boring, we ended up baking at home. ha ha. And THAT allowed me to find out that the results of baking over here is so much better than back in singapore or in dubai. Look at these.

Strawberry bread with pecan

In case you’re wondering, i did not get the two photos from the net. I made the muffin and Natalie (my cousin who’s also here on holiday) made the bread. (*Photos were taken and uploaded before i lost my camera. hmm.. i wonder how much the thief is selling my camera for. argh!)

Oops. Digression~ Now back to the topic.

So there’s nothing to do in London, I’ve gone partying and met wei min who’s studying here and beatrice who’s here for some design exhibition. I’m so done with London! It’ll only going to get worse when Natalie (who has been very charitable, spending almost everyday with me) goes back on the 2nd of July. WAIT. Isn’t that this thursday?!

I’m broke and sore that i lost my camera (oh, did i mention i lost the previous one in auckland in March?). So i really should go home.
